Who we are.
We are Christopher and Evelyn Jones. Married August 6, 2005, we are relatively newlyweds with a heart for ministry overseas. We met at NewTribes Bible Institute and have since fallen in love, married, and started an incredible adventure with each other, and our Creator.

What we are doing.
We are partnering with local churches and individuals in the USA to plant sister churches among the least reached people on the planet. We intend to move into a remote tribal location, learn the undocumented tribal language of the people in there, develop a written language and literacy program in this tribal group, translate scripture into said language -and all this in hopes of seeing an indigenous sister church planted among the people there.

Why we are doing this.
This video is Awayo’s Story. He is a brother in Christ living in the Moi tribe. He speaks a language few on the planet have even heard, and lives in a region few on the planet have ever seen -in the remote highlands of Papua, Indonesia. This brother has walked the narrow path from darkness that many do not yet even have the option to take.

More than 3,000 languages on the planet are still without any scripture in them. Caught in the most remote areas on the planet the speakers of these languages live in complete spiritual darkness without hope of escape.

Where we are going.
Our years of training have been to prepare us to reach out to those in an undocumented language and remote tribal location. Few and far between in this day and age, Papua New Guinea is one of the final frontiers for missions in this capacity. Already outfitted with extensive missionary infrastructure (i.e. missionary aviation, missionary-kid education, missionary support workers, etc.), Papua New Guinea has been a mission field for decades and is well equipped for field missionaries like us to join the effort there. Approximately the same size as the state of California, Papua NewGuinea is home to 830 distinct languages (some with multiple dialects as well), more than 600 of which are without any translation of the Word of God.

Deep valleys and unforgiving terrain have kept the different tribes of Papua New Guinea relatively isolated, so that the groups’ languages are not blended together but remain distinct. While the country is thought to have over 800 living languages, some, like Abaga, are spoken by as few as five(!) people.

The positive relationship there between the national government and Christianity clears an obstacle that missionaries in many other countries spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to overcome. Missionary visas and easy travel in and out of the country make it a field even more “ripe for harvest.”

How you can help.
You can help us by keeping up with us via the web (this site, facebook, twitter, email), and just thinking and praying about how God could use you in ministry. We have posted more information here if you are not intimidated enough already by all the text on this page.

As the church of Christ there are three things we can do to see the unreached receive the gospel message. We can Pray for those already serving, and ask the Lord for even more to go. We can Give, effectively sending and equipping those in ministry. We can Go to the nations and share the gospel of grace with those who do not have it. We thank you for your interest in us and would ask you to pray about partnering with us in any of thes ways. There are some links in the sidebar above if you would like some more information on how to partner with us.
